At school art and music were my passions.

I went on to study classical music. Later a degree in fine art.

Subsequently I held a variety of part time art related posts, attended exchanges in Portugal and Germany and exhibited in open studios, galleries and museums. 

My work is based on memories, sounds, words and the observed landscape.

Poems have arrived unbidden evolving from sketchbook notes......

Attracted to places on the edge, nature raw, exposed and at work.

I now paint full time.
