2023 was a very busy year. It was time to slow down and make some work!

2024. Excited by the synthesis of my poems into the paintings which I had used  for Artel's theme of 2023 - What Lies Beneath,  collaging  developed into a new body of work where the addition of newspaper became a significant element - led the direction and choices of images.

By October  The Power of Words  went on display at Oxmarket Contemporary, Chichester.

5 works from the series were on display.

In the studio are several more to complete.  The process of collaging newsprint is proving inspirational.

Not giving titles to the work but asking viewers for suggestions is interesting and informative - it becomes a two way dialogue.
